KOGO is team of dedicated volunteers, with over 10,000 knitters within Australia.
Founder Ros started KOGO in 2005, when her and her team of volunteer knitters decided to knit scarves and beanies for disadvantaged children.
These items were distributed to schools and publicity in the local press led to an overwhelming response. KOGO grew quickly and has developed into the major charity it is today. KOGO distributes over 100,000 items to vulnerable people within the community each year.
Mission Statement
KOGO enhances social inclusion through volunteering and providing hand knitted items of warmth and comfort to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in our community.
