Vaccinations
Prevention is the best medicine

Our Peak Pharmacies pharmacists can administer a wide range of vaccinations, most commonly:

Influenza (Flu) vaccines to 10 years and over ( 5 years and over in some stores)

COVID-19 booster vaccinations to 18 years and older. As of 1st March 2024, if 75 years and over it is advised to receive a dose every 6 months, those over 65 years can also receive a dose every 6-12 months and if aged 18 to 64 years boosters can be given every 12 months. For clarification on these guidelines, talk to your Peak Pharmacies pharmacist.

Pertussis (Whooping Cough) vaccines to 12 years and over

From 1st January 2024, some vaccinations will be fully subsidised by the National Immunisation program in addition to COVID-19 vaccines which are free of charge to all Australians.
A $19.95 immunisation fee applies to all other vaccinations not covered by the above conditions and some other fees may apply.​

The following vaccinations can be administered by our pharmacists but may require pre-ordering and payment in store prior to immunisation:

Herpes Zoster (Shingles) vaccine to persons aged 50 years and older. Patients over 65 years can now receive subsidized vaccinations.

Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine to 12 years and over

​Japanese Encephalitis vaccine to persons 10 years and over

Meningococcal ACWY and Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) vaccines to 15 years and over.

Pneumococcal vaccine to persons aged 50 years and older
